I'm trying to find out what the possible penalty could be for my son who was released from prison last week and immediately transferred to our county jail for a new charge of "petty theft with priors". Apparently this happened just before he was busted on parole violation this time and sent back to prison. He has several years of drug charges, probation and parole violations (he just doesn't do what he's supposed to do), local jail time and 2 prison incarcerations (both less than a year). I'm not looking for absolutes...just trying to prepare myself for what lies ahead. I've tried surfing the web, and I get a lot of "stuff", but nothing that's helping me. I appreciate your input, as always!
