Quick qeuestion. How many of you with kids tell the teachers whats going on in your life. I really dont get into our personal buisness but my son was having some issues and I did tell the principal that dad has been out of the home for about a year and just recently my son has gotten to see him again. Academically my son does ok, but its behavio issues and he is one of the youngest in his grade. But he really does pretty well despite our situation. My friend who is a teacher says I should tell the teacher and principal the dad is in prison so they know and cabn better understand his behavior. Besides kids tell somtimes anyway maybe hes already said somthing. Its really no big deal and I dont make a big deal. I just tell my kids that not everyone understands and its hard I dont want my kids lie or feel any shame. I tell my freinds and family the truth but its not really somthing you want going around the neighborhood. Whats the best thing to say to teachers and our kids???

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
