My daughter was sentenced to a year in prison and her boyfriend was sent to a men's prison of course for 4 years. He was convicted of manufacturing meth. My question is: since they cannot write directly to one another, my daughter wants me to send her letters to him under the pretense of my writing to him. Is this legal first of all and secondly - this relationship is obviously not one that I want to nurture along since he took her from me in the first place and got her addicted to meth. They have had a destructive relationship for 3 years and we have all been put through hell because of it. What should I do? My daughter will hate me if I don't pass her letters on and I will hate me if I do! Help
