Why is it that prison gaurds think they need to be on a power trip? My husband was in a prison in jackson michigan for most of his sentence. almost all the gaurds there that i saw was on this power trip. What really pissed me off was this little old lady came to visit her son, she was on a walker and had on a loose t shirt. She in no way looked sexy. She went thru to get patted down and came back out with tears in her eyes and said they wont let me in because i dont have a bra on. That is awful. Whats worse is they let 2 girls in right after her that was showing all kinds of cleavedge! Hes in muskegon now and all the gaurds i have met there are nice except for the one that was there last night. She was on a power trip. She asked me how much money i had and i said it should be 15.00 and she made me go back out and count it. So there was 16.00 so what! these people are no better than the prisoners. My husband still hasnt got the money order they stold from him. Thanks for letting me vent. Debbie

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
lastly, they that took the money will be punished--one way or the other..that is the truth!!
hang in there--

Because my husband is in the county jail right now, I am just biding my time. Once he's transfered all hell is going to break loose on the county level...I am taking up the treatment of the visitors as my personal pet project. I know too many people too high up and who are in a position to do something about this not to make a stink. I suppose when he's out of prison I'll just take it up on the state level.
Phew...sorry about the rant, but this whole thing just makes me FURIOUS!!!!!!!!!!
Got her though with a friend who was maxing out, she wanted to ticket him, he told her go ahead, I'm leaving very soon, guess the joke was on her?
What really had me heated is, I'm disabled, they had me sit in a drug chair, they said they do this to every 4 visitors, picture this bull, 14 years of togetherness, we never gave them a reason for nothing, but yet they serve poppy seed rolls in that facility, take a wee-wee after that, could turn up drug positive, go figure? Most are idiots.

But then there are some nice guards too. One guard even let my husband use her personal cell phone to call me one evening when she found out I wasn't going to get to come visit him. I'm sure it is against some rule somewhere but she risked her job so I could talk to my husband for a few minutes.
