I just got a fax from my attorney PO is to be released to his family (me and the kids) tomorrow morning. I can't believe this day is finally here. We have a long road ahead of us with continueing care and treatment but I feel like I can see a light at the end of the tunnel now.

I'm SO happy for you! My son just got out 2 weeks ago and it will continue to be a journey for all of us; but I know what you mean about that light at the end of the tunnel! Continue hanging in there and blessings to your family! I know I will keep coming back here because I have found incredible support and encouragement through those who know what this journey is like.

This is good news. I hope all is going well. I know from others there is a an adjustment period. I pray it goes smoothly. This reality became a little more real to me htis week as We need to start planning for Steve;s release in 2009. He wrote and told me we will need to submit a plan for it in the coming weeks. I am excited by that. I am happy for you all.

My family member was released today as well from midstate after 5 years. he is going to live in transitional supportive living and we are so grateful! He had thyroid surgery while incarcerated (at an outside hospital) and caught an infection aftewards (in prison). I don't believe he saw sick call in midstate after the surgery -- being he was gonna be released soon. We believe he caught the infection due to the dirty conditions inside. Can we fight the system? Does anyone have experience like that? If so, please let me know. We want to get him to a doctor asap on the outside! YEAH!

So caught up in my joy, I forgot to say to you POsOldLady that I AM THRILLED FOR YOU and when anyone gets released it is indeed something to be thankful for!

    theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
