My daughters Parole officer dropped ball?

deleted_user
Well today I woke up and decided I needed to write a letter to the board of pardons. A little history. My daughter was in prison for drug charges in 2003. She then got out and did pretty well for a while. Then she relapsed and started taking pills again. Who knows what she was doing but regardless, in January she went to her po and asked her to please get her into a drub rehab. Her po did nothing. Since January she has been in jail 3 times, counting now. Her po never contacted her about her charges or did anything about them. I thought it was a po's job to watch over their parolee's but I guess not all of them do. Shouldnt her po have done something when she was arrested the first time? I dont know. I just think her po dropped the ball on her. If she had gotten the help she asked for in January, she wouldnt be incarcerated now. I dont take responsibility away from my daughter, but I just feel like she got lost in the system and was ignored until she was arrested 2 weeks ago. Anyone out there that can answer please do. Im so confused. By the way, I didnt know about her request for help at the time, or I would have contracted her po.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

We had a former cellmate of my son live with us for a year when he was paroled. He is black, we are not. His PO's, who all happened to be black, treated me like crap until one day I went off and reminded the jerk that the kid's parents wouldn't take him, so I did. I also told him that if he was disrespectful to me in my home once more I'd have his job. He cooled his jets fast.
I've found that if your kid needs help you need to make a lot of noise. It took me two years an a visit to a county commissioner's office to get my son's knee surgery. Once I really raised heck it happened in a month.
Kick and scream a little. Your kid is worth it.
