Okay, so Toby had gastric bypass 20 months ago. Because of this, his eating habits and the way his body processes vitamins and minerals has changed dramatically. He has to take supplements for the rest of his life at certain times in the day and under certain conditions, (Vit C and Iron together). His system isn't able to absorb nutrients like the rest of us. He also has to maintain a MINIMUM of 70 grams of protein each day. But it all has to be broken up into very small meals throughout the day (every 3-4 hours). I have contacted medical on various occassions as well as his personal physician. We have complied with all of the requests that the staff has made, but he still isn't getting what he needs. Now I am not even getting my calls returned. I have the number for Prison Health Services that county uses to staff the jails, but does anyone have any other ideas???

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
