I was just wondering if anyone could help me. I know that every correctional facility is different but has anyone heard of an inmate being released for a furlough(sp?) for the birth of their child. He is in for a violation of probation and I am due to give birth with our first child in 9 weeks. I have heard of people getting out for funerals and things like that but just wondering if they can do it for births also. If you can give any insight I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks a million and head your head up everyone.
