James has some VOPs in CA. He sent paperwork for CA to either come get him or just dismiss the cases. The first time it went in front of the judge he said the warden didn't sign the papers so they were invalid. The DA didn't know anything about these papers even tho they went thru his office. So the judge ordered for probation to calculate his custody credits. James has more than enough for these to be considered time served. This was way back at the beginning of June. August is almost over and it's been continued at least 4 times. Why do they do this. I don't understand it should be just an open and shut case. Can anyone help me understand why the judge continues the case everytime it's come up?
