This community is dedicated to families that have been disrupted by prison. Having a loved one incarcerated or having been incarcerated comes with its own unique challenges that require support and understanding. I have all the people that responded to redneckangel's post about the card program I headed up last year. I have a total of 19 people that are willing to send out cards so far this year. If you would like to be a participant and have not responded to redneckangle's post please email me and let me know that you are willing to participate in sending out cards.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Also, if there is some of a list by this weekend I would certainly not mind sending Thanksgiving greetings.
If no one else has a Box already they'd want to share I may go purchase one! Any thoughts?
If so, I will send it to Huskersky to add to the list of information she is gathering. Good idea about no need for writing back to thank us...saving their stamps for family letters.

I can briefly disclose what they may write to the group. If any cards are returned I will try my best to get them fixed and delivered correctly.
Anything we left out? Other problems? If so, submit your idea or problem and we will see what can be done to try to fix it. We want this to go off smoothly.
