Does anyone know if there is a bare minimum of necessaties the jails and prisons are supposed to provide to the inmates? I mean like hygiene products (i.e. shampoo, soap, deodarant, etc.) because the county jail that my husband is currently being held in provides NOTHING!! If it wasn't for me sending him money to buy these necessary items he wouldn't have anything. There is a guy that he is in there with right now that has only been able to rinse off in the shower because he has no money and no one to send him any. If it wasn't for my husband's kind spirit and him sharing this guy still wouldn't have had a decent shower and he has been in there over a month. Anybody know someone I can contact? I would think this would fall under cruel and unusual punishment.
