When my son was sentenced the judge gave him paperwork to fill out if he wanted to appeal. He sent it to me and I delivered it to the courthouse before the time was up. We also filled out a paper for a PD to do this as I didn't have the 8-10 grand that most attorneys wanted for appeal. My question is that he took a plea agreement on bad advice from the attorney we had. Its also pretty obvious the attorney did nothing to represent him and made a few other mistakes. Does anyone know with the fact that he did take the plea if there is any hope with an appeal? He was charged with 2 counts, one he was guilty of, the other he was not. Also they enhanced a misdemeanor charge to a felony to charge him with hibitual. If he could even appeal that part it would be great. I wonder if its possible to appeal just the unfair portion of the sentencing? Any advice would be great.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
