I posted something last night, and I don't see it today, so if its on here twice, sorry. I got papers in the mail yesterday from the courthouse. It was the appeal papaers I filed for my son and another copy saying someone from the PD office would be assigned and it was signed by the judge. Does this mean a chance for appeal was granted? We are excited but nervous. Some of the guys said if you are going through the appeal process you go back to county, does anyone know if thats true? My sons attorney did not represent him, counsel him, and made other mistakes, but my son took an plea on bad advice, is there still hope? Also can an appeal go bad and make your time start over, or add more time somehow? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
