As some of you know, my boyfriend was sentenced to life for a crime he did not commit and we are in the process of trying to get his case overturned or whatever. We've already contacted the innocence project in our state and he's getting the application and legal information together for that. I'm trying to help him because he was convicted on two people's testimony that he was the one who committed the crime. He was not anywhere around there when it happend. So basically what I'm asking is can anyone give me any suggestions of what kind of information I can look up for him to send him that might be of help? Also, is there any way I can find out if public defender was corrupt or anything. He did nothing to help my boyfriend. There was a juror who was involved with a relative of the victim. My boyfriend said that things were twisted up on the stand. He said the police even changed what the informant had said in the police report. We're waiting to get the transcripts from the trial still. But again, any suggestion or help would be great. Thanks.
