After that, comes the mental part which is also very hard. People in early sobriety suffer from depression, which is even more severe for the ones recovering from opiates addictions. But it passes. Your wife is up against a tough disease but she is in the right place. She is going through a lot right now, but it's for a good purpose. Getting sober was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life, but it was also the best.
If you can, try to worry about you and your kids. Try to keep the focus on them. They need you. Your wife is in the right place and she is getting the help she needs. You and your kids also need support and caring becasue addiction is a disease of the family. If you want to help her, just tell her that you love her, tell her that you are pround of her and her accomplishments. She needs to complete the program. And pray for her...
