I took part in an amazing event on October 13th this year! The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention has what is called "Out of the Darkness" Community Walks. It's kind of like the cancer walks that people do to raise funds for the research of cancer, but this is for suicide prevention! The foundation is incredible. It supports education, prevention, awareness and offers support for those affected. My family and I participated in a walk this year in Dallas, and it was very moving. To see so many affected by suicide, coming together. I encourage everyone to check out afsp.org to learn more about it. (I hope that is the right address) I wish you all well, and pray that you can find some peace with such a tragic loss.
