I recently had a seizure while pulling out of a parking lot and wrapped my car around a tree. The neurologist has ordered an MRI and an EEG and I go back Monday for results. She has put me on Trileptal 300 mg twice a day and will up it to 2 twice a day. I am wondering if I am going to have to take meds for the rest of my life because "someone witnessed" me having a seizure. Or will tests prove I had a seizure. Why would I start having seizures at my age? Basically I'm just looking for info because I truly don't understand what's going on.

The longest Ive been free of them was only 5 months. Im trying to find something in my life truly worth living...
I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
