My son is 4 years old and has seizures (they are small and infrequent). He also has Cerebral Palsy and is just learning to pull up on furniture to stand. The big problem is, of course, that these seizures knock him to the floor. He was started on Phenolbarbital (not sure how to spell it) when he was a baby, but it really didn't change anything. And getting his blood checked was hard. Then he was on Topamax, which was easy to give him, and we didn't have to get his blood checked, but I saw no improvement. He usually has seizures when we have to wake him up, or when he is tired or hungry. But sometimes it seems there is no particular reason. So for people who have tried different kinds of medications, I was wondering if you could give me some tips or advice. I would really appreciate it!!
