I'm not going to give a lecture about the dangers of driving, maybe you can learn by my stupidity.
In 1999 I had a stroke, I owned a desin build company at that time and had to shut it down due to injuries substained from the fall off a ladder when the stroke occured and some stroke related problems. This forced me to hire people to finish my jobs in progress and put me in extreame financial problems until I went bankrupt. I had enough design work to work from home but was getting into more financial problems and went to work for a company 1 hours drive from my house. Two months later I started having grand mal seizures once a month, I was told not to drive.
For two months my wife would drop me off at another employee's house and he would bring me to work. Two months later he went to work for another company and I lost my ride to work. Fully knowing I was not supposed to drive and the medication was not controling the seizures I decided to drive anyways, my excuss, I was not going to loose my house. I was having warning signs that the seizure was coming and felt I could just pull over to the side of the road and have the seizure. I got away with it for a little bit. While driving one day on a divided highway, the warning signs started and I pull over to the side of the road, put the key under the floor matt and had the fit part of the seizure. The rest of this is what I was told as to what happened, I do not remember it. I turned my truck around and proceeded to drive the wrong way down the highway, People were calling the police about a truck going the wrong way down the highway but they ended up being to late to catch me. I had gone almost seven miles and went into a very sharp curver in the highway when I smashed head on into another truck. I was rushed to the hospital with severe head lascerations and multiple broken ribs. The other driver walked away and both trucks were towed to the junk yard. When I came to in the hospital a couple of hours later there was a police officer in the room, she asked me for my divers license, which I handed over to her. She told me what happened, that the drug and alcohole test were negative so they were not going to arrest me and then handed me three driving violation tickets, I still have scars on my forhead. Today I dive a motorcycle as much as possible to minimize the chances of ever hurting somone, will not dive my truck when I feel even a little bit weired. The experience will live with me for the rest of my life and I will not ever again be comfortable driving. So if you do decide to drive before your seizures are under control this is what WILL HAPPEN to you and worse yet you my hurt or kill someone

TRUE..but it does depend on how bad your epilepsy is..I have been driving for years and evry 3 years in the UK they do another medical for epileptics..but like me suffering from nocturnal fits I do understand wher you come from but for me work and domestic life is sadly very dependent on it..

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
