Hi all, im new here, only joined today, I was diagnosed with epilepsy in 1984 when i suddenly started having seizures out the blue. Had mri scan and eeg but both showed up normal. Tried several different medications and none of them seemed to get it controlled. I was signed off work "until further notice" the note said. The docs always said it was stress related and over nest 10 to 15 yrs i managed to reduce the amount of stress in my life and slowly the fits decreased to the point of instead of 3 a week to only have one or two a year. I weaned myself off all medication and my seizures remained at only 2 a yr, so i decided it was time to get my life back and i got a job. Woohoo a reason to get up in the morning. All this was great until aug of this year, i had a seizure at work and they called ambulance who gave me a lift home, then i had another one at home so i went to the docs a couple of days later. I was signed off for 2 weeks, since then i have had several seizures, almost daily, i have been referred to neurologist and she has put me on Keppra. As i have had adverse reactions to all anti convulsant drugs in past she has started me off on a very low dose 250mg daily to be increased by 250mg fortnightly. Im up to 500mg daily and in a weeks time it goes up to 750mg daily. Im finding the keppra makes me very tired and im tearful for about 4 days when my dosages changes, ive had a recent mri scan and am awaiting results. My doc has now signed me off for 2 months, im still having 3 to 4 seizures a week, most with no warning, its like someone has switched the lights out. I feel very isolated and alone, im scared to even walk to the shop in case i have one, i live on my own with my small dog, dont know what i would do without her. Nothing new has happened to bring back the seizures, im not stressed, well i wasnt, this whole situation is stressing me out, anyone got any explanations or feel similiar to me?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
