In hindsight this actually worked well in that she could stay focused on just a few classes rather than 7 or 8 from a regular school.
Her coordination has always been an issue as well. Was signing her up for gymnastics and the like to help with coordination. We just assumed - at the time - that she was more into dolls that wanting to be physically active. And - when she did become active she was a bit of a klutz.
We could be beating ourselves up forever and a day but as I stated.. since this happened a lot more of her past makes more sense today than it did way back when! Take care!
We seem to have got nowhere with treatment as the sodium valproate doesnt work and we are looking at adding or changing his meds as in the last two months we have more than we did before. It's very worrisome.
Not only does he have the delay we have behavorial problems as well but I don't know if its that or because of other things.
