I guess I have been in denial, but now reality is setting in. I am having a right temporal lobectomy in a week and a half. I have been very calm, well as calm as I can be. Yesterday I got mad about not having a chair at work.
My husband is so anxious he had to see the doctor for medication. My dog is even vomiting...although probably not related.
I almost started to cry when I apologized to the coworker about my behavior over the chair. I explained I am stressed over the surgery coming up. I haven't cryed yet. I think I haven't really let it sink in how this is major stuff.
I am so grateful for the opportunity and really am looking forward to living a seizure free life on hopefully just one medication.
Thanks for reading.

Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

Have you looked at the video OF the lobectomy? http://www.or-live.com/tgh/1333/ This is a recording of a live broadcast. Viewers were able to email in questions and have them answered. Several of them were my questions. I think that's probably why I didn't have a whole lof of questions when it came time for my OWN surgery.
Take care, and keep me posted, please?
