Hi to you all from DownUnder :-). Is there anyone out there that has been pregnant/had a baby whilst on Lamictal? And did you have any adverse side effects whilst pregnant or your child have any associated birth defects. I have a 4 year old son but was on tegretol at the time and had no problems whatsoever. Although I was well controlled, two years later it was decided that I change to Lamictal as my liver was too sensitive to the drug (even on a low dose) and my LFTs were very abnormal. I am now 36 and we want to have another baby and am concerned about the higher incidence of cleft lip/palette associated with Lamictal. The fact that I am older doesn\'t help either. I am not well controlled at the moment (2 seizures in the last 4 months/year) as we are still trying to determine the right therapeutic dose for me, that is effective and also low enough to pose less risk if I get pregnant. We are not actively trying for a baby at the moment as a direct result of the seizures I had in June and the other just two weeks ago. I would love more info from anyone who can help or who has had a baby while taking Lamictal! Take care.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
