Just when I thought I had a handle on life I started having seizures again Thursday Morning. I take daily meds fors seizures, anxeity, depression, high b/p and for a stroke I had about 9 years ago. I quit working about 3 years ago and went on full disability, I did not suffer much of any physical side affects from my stroke but i have signs of cognitive dysfunction. After completing a field of vision test it was determined that I was legally blind and can no longer drive. I was seizure free for about 3 years. since Thursday I have had a dozen or more seizures. a few of them I got an auora but most had now warning and they were full grand mal. I have pretty stressed about a extended family issue. I can't help but think that's what triggered it. I have also been experiencing this really annoying problem with my arms, from my shoulders to my wrist. They itch continually. This has been going on 6 weeks. I have seen my gp and my neuro wiht tho luck. They have given me multiple meds none have worked. I see and dermatologist on Monday. I hope he can help. Has anyone ever experience anything li this? I have so many questions really. I never knew this forum what there until last week when stumbled on it. I've related to a lot of the dicussion topics.

I get stress-induced seizures sometimes, too. As for your rash, maybe you've developed an allergy to one of your meds. I'm allergic to Topamax- it gave me a rash. I hope your dermatologist can help!

I really hope the dermatologist can help you. You mention that you've seen your Neuro, yet obviously it appears that he doesn't believe the rash could be due to your meds. I can't help but wonder, though, with Lamictal you have to be cautious if a rash develops as it can be serious business with that Rx.

If you have just recently changed any of your meds you need to call your Dr. right away.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
