I would talk to the special ed super-intendent to see what they are able to do for you and your child. Even if your child is not able to function like other kids her own age, she has a right to an education appropriate to her abilities. Good luck and don't give up. The schools may not give you all the info at first but remember you are your daughters best advocate and if you don't fight for her rights no one will.
