I just wanted to let everyone know that we were able to successfully complete the school work Jack needed to make up. Thru lots of prayer and support, he just decided one day he wanted to finish it up! I thought Math would take us a month to complete but wanted to do it in two days! So, we did! We just got back from a family vacation to Orange Beach. We drove 3 hours and stayed for 4 days. We used the eye patch in the car for videos and this helped protect him from the traffic lights too. We had an electrical storm one evening and with love and suport he did fine. He is learning to close one eye when he is around video games or flickering lights. He is learning to take care of himself. I'm very proud of us for stepping out and going off on vaca. It's not easy to make these decisions but I have learned so much here about living life and not being afraid. Thank You!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
