It's been a bit, but I have been battling menopause at 31 yeah!!! Anyway my doc put me on Zoladex in June Oh my goodness I almost quit, with the intense hot flashes and night sweats, major emotional turmoil, and still have to live, it was a little much. I was only sleeping about 30 min at a time, for the first 10 weeks I was a mess. Anyway doc gave me sleeping pills for 1 month and urged me to stay on the Zoladex, so I said 1 more month then I am done. Well about 2 weeks ago I woke up happy and felt whole. I cannot believe the change, still a few ht flashes and sweats, but this feeling of being free from the pain and fear of endo is soooo worth it and as long as I keep working out the eating thing won't get too out of control. My point is that anyone considering this tx go for it. If you are facing a hysterectomy as the last hope ask your doc about it seriously! I will let everyone know how it continues to go now that I am sane again! It's also been nice not having a period. I bled about 3 weeks and then nodda!!!
