Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

I have been bloated nearly every day now for some time. I also do not seem to be using the potty as often as normal. Some time ago I stopped drinking milk because I thought it was contributing to the awful gas pains/cramps that I get. It does seem to be better without milk, but has not resolved itself. Another symptom that I experience is that when I have gas, it does not seem to be able to escape. It just gurgles around inside and I can actually feel it popping. I do not have problems with constipation, but definitely don't have to go as often as would seem normal. Has this diet helped anyone of you with similar symptoms?

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
Also you may have an intolerance to another food, unrelated to endo.
A tip on this diet:
Wheat and dairy are often hidden in a lot of foods. For example, soy sauce contains wheat, and even things like chicken fingers can contain dairy.
Other words for dairy are: casein, lactose, calcium caseinate, sodium casienate, whey
Other words for wheat are: barley, malt, oats (from same family), wheatstarch, brewer's yeast. All flour products contain wheat (so any pastry, bread, most sauces etc.
With a little research and a lot of effort, you can do it and I find it really helps. Here is a website to look on (but not buy anything from):

and google 'celiac disease' - where people are allergic to wheat and it explains how to eat wheat free. The most important thing is to replace wheat and dairy with fresh foods that contain lots of great stuff to keep you full and healthy. I lost 40 lbs while on the diet. But PLAN AHEAD, make a meal list at the beginning of each week and make grocery lists that include foods from the 'outside' aisles (ie. not prepared, flour filled, pre-packaged junk).

I actually found this book first when visiting my in-laws in England, but luckily it's published in America too. HTH! :)

It's quite difficult to follow precisely for long term but you can notice a difference, especially with period pains, sleep pattern and it actually helps with general well being, helping things 'move' as it should and losing weight! :)
Definitely worth giving it a go. Good Luck!
I have cut out:
Alcohol
Wheat
Red Meat
I have limited:
Dairy
Chocolate
Caffeine
Sugar
Foods with chemicals and preservatives
Make sure you take the right vitamins and eat plenty of calories because I made myself sick at first, but now I've figured it out and feel great. I have been on it for about six months and feel like a new person.
It is really hard at first. I struggled and still do sometimes, but it is so worth it.
I can already see that one of the ladies has told you to google coeliacs disease which is an allergy to wheat and gluten. Not just an "intolerance" which many people find hard to distinguish between! I have coeliacs disease and endo so it's pretty hard to seperate all the pains, bowel movements etc. And I suffer with the gas and the popping effect as you call it and you're the first person I've come across who seems to have it also. Anyway back to the subject! I found out I had coeliacs 5 yrs before I was diagnosed with endo, and I cut it completely out of my diet. After being slightly overweight all my life, I dropped down to 9 stone. Obviously due to the health risks that go with coeliacs I avoid wheat and gluten and after a few years now, it just becomes second nature.
I won't lie, its incredibly hard because wheat and gluten are in things you would never imagine (like soy sauce!) but in the end it's worth it. Anyway for me, if I do eat wheat, bloated is an understatement!! It'd be worth you giving it a try, even if it's only for a month, because even after 4 weeks of no wheat or gluten, you will notice a change. I've never tried a dairy free so i can't comment on that. To be honest, its hard enough finding food with the coeliacs so anyone who does both, I admire you! Hope this helps a little.
