Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
as for the shot... everyone is different...for me it was fabulous... no pain for the firsttime in years...down side was the menopausal symptoms... accupuncture was the bestthing I found for nightsweats and stuff...
I am going to warn you to really investigate the shot. I did and decied there is no chance in hell I will ever take that thing, but it is a personal decision for everyone.
I have decided to start continuous cycle birth control instead. I have been taking Loestrin for two weeks now and I am actually relatively pain free. I am crossing my fingers that the birth control in combination with my lap controls my moderate to severe endo for at least a few years.
