Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

Okay, ladies....
I've never missed my period, except when I was pregnant. I am 100% sure that I'm not and I could just be late as its only by a couple of days since I figured it should start.
I've been having cramping for three days, VERY tender breasts....so much so that it hurts to move my right upper body, I've had a few bouts of nausea in the afternoon, fatigue......
I'm newly diagnosed with endo (aug 07) but am a sufferer since my periods began 30yrs ago (I was 12).
Any ideas/advice???

Endo has been know to cause your periods to not be on time, or for the flow of them to be different. I would say still talk to your Doctor. But if it helps at all, Endo has made me miss a period for almost a month.

May be you should leave it a little while longer before you worry. Like the other lady said Endo makes your periods be all over the place. I bled 24/7 365 days a year from 1998 - July 2007 so I know only too well what endo can do to your periods. Recently I have been taken off of my hormone treatment as i have surgery in December and all the symptoms you described I have as well yet there is no bleeding. So may be your hormones are playing around a bit. Have you had any stress in your life? Also have you been eating properly as all these things can effect your period too, which i am sure you are aware. Sorry I have not helped much hope you have your mind at ease soon.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
