Hello All...new here, but glad I found the site. I am 38 years old with 3 kids. I have been researching how having your tubes tied can affect your body later on. I had my tubes tied after my third child at the age of 27, 11 years ago. Without realizing it over the past 10 years, my periods slowly changed since the TL. As it stands right now, I have extremely heavy, painful periods with back pain usually starting 2 days before. I have to take Tylenol #3's for the pain as nothing else works. I also pass clots about the size of a quarter. About a year ago I started to suffer from constipation along with rectal pain and pressure. Occasionally I will suffer the rectal pain (almost like a spasm...hard to explain)right after sex...I know this sounds weird. I finally went to the Doctor and they did a pelvic ultrasound and discovered 3 fibroid tumours on my uterus, as well there is a possibility of endometriosis. I see the Gyno on Nov 21st. I don't know if the TL has anything to do with this but I question it, and given the choice I would not have it done again.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
