I have had abdominal pain for as long as I can remember- long before my first period. I just sort of learned to live with it. Then when I was about twenty yrs old- I had an attack of pain so intense, that it landed me in the emergency room. It came out of nowhere, and had me doubled over in agony. I was told then that I had pelvic inflamatory disease. I am 29 now and have been trying to get pregnant for nearly 10 yrs. This led me to a fertility specialist who diagnosed me with endometriosis. I was told that I had 4 large cysts and that I needed surgery A.S.A.P. Had it on Oct.5th of 07. It was supposed to be a simple Lap- but my Dr decided that she would have to go all the way in and do it by hand. Recovery was a nightmare- the pain was the worst thing I have ever gone thru. Now it is 6 mths later and we are still not pregnant. I am overwhelmed. Before the surgery, my periods were pretty regular. They were almost always 27 days apart, and though I always had cramps with them- it was tolerable. Since the sugery, the cramping has become more severe,I have skipped one period entirely, (and of course we had our hearts broken when we found out it was not because I was pregnant) and my cycles are all over the map. I have also noticed that they are WAY heavier than before the surgery. Last month after going over my charts I was put on Clomid to assist in ovulation. I am so lost in all of this- I feel helpless and confused and afraid. I feel as if I am running out of time, because while we are trying to get pregnant- I of course can not be on the pill to slow down the progress of the endo, and now I am taking Clomid which has been known to cause cysts! I dont know what is normal and what is not, and when I talk to my doctor- I seem to forget all that I think about between appointments. I am just so confused.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
