Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

I am at my wit's end. I bled (PERIOD BLED) every day for a YEAR. EVERY DAY WITHOUT FAIL! I stopped, three weeks later I bled every day for 11 days. I stopped again. I started bleeding 5 days later and have been bleeding for the last 3.
I was SO SURE that I was done bleeding after I stopped and went 3 weeks without bleeding, and now I have no clue what to do!
I've been on medicine, off medicine, and nothing seems to help. I've been on and off of birth control, hormone therapy, and other things.
I just wish more than anything the blood would quit. Does ANYONE else have a similar problem? Like... bleeding more than a month at a time? What happened??
Thanks much, and thanks in advance for love- I REALLY need it. :\

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

The only thing I can think of is that I have two uteruses and perhaps they are not in sync and cycle at different times, so while I am continuously bleeding, it is not the same uterus?
I too bleed a lot, for months at a time, heavy and horribly painful periods. I have had luck with lupron (no for pain but for stopping my periods) and also with depo. Regular or progesterone type birth control does not help me.
I agree with Ashley Nichole, my body was so out of whack with all the hormones I was taking, I started to lose everything about my body, horrible pain everywhere, I truley was a zombie and I bled continuously. It is so nice to not have anything in your system but it is also painful at the time same.
As far as having the two uterus - have the doctors talked to you about that possibly happening when you have 2 menstrual cycles? that is very interesting, they should be able to give you their thoughts on that.
I wish yout he best, and I hope you feel better.
