Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

That is normal with endo. Sounds like you had a cyst burst. I have had this happen many times. It will feel like a knife is stabbing you from the inside out, and it's hard to sit, stand, walk, lay down. You will also feel like you have to go pea, but when you try you may not pea at all, or maybe just a little dribble. The first time I had it happen, i thought I was dying right then. My stomach started swelling up and getting some what hard/firm on one side. After the cyst burst, several minutes later the worst of the pain was gone, then I was just achey for a few days. This is going to sound a little silly, but I have found that when this is happening, if I just sit on the toilet it helps relieve some of the pressure. I think it's because the whole in the toilet seat helps take pressure off of your bottom which stops from pushing up on your bottom area. You will have many different symptoms and pains. Don't worry, you can always turn to any of us here in the endo section. We all understand what you are going through. Just hang in there, days can be tough I know. Sometimes I just want to fall off the face of the earth or crawl into a whole and never come out. You may also find that when you have these pains, that is drains all of your energy. That happens to me everytime. I also have them so bad at times, that I actually drop to the floor without meaning to. and it can last for a short time, to a few days. I wish you the best in your health and with dealing with endo. BIG HUG

I have had that pain too. In fact, I started my period on MOnday and what's today....Thurs...ok so yesterday I kept having sharp pains to the right of my belly button. I am certain I have endo there...and since I was on my period all the endo was bleeding or bursting too....so hense the pain. This period I have had lots of intense sharp pains instead of my usual intense cramps with occational sharp pains.

Also might want to check out interstitial cystitis... it's commonly associated with endo. I've had pain like that, but with the hard spots, i'd go to the gyno and discuss surgery first.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
