I just had the radical hysterectomy. Yippee for me! I am going for another Lupron shoot in a week or two. My question is about replacement therapy. Since it had only been a short time since my last surgery and the hysto my doctor (wonderful doctor) stated that she did not want me to go on replacement for sometime just in case something was missed. So what do I do about hormones? Is there anything natural to help? How should I eat? Is there a vitamin? When the time passes do I really want to start a hormone that causes such horrible pain? Why do I need them in the 1st place? What did women do before we had this replacement stuff? I guess I am asking for advice and information.... Once I am allowed to drive I might just have to go to the bookstore. Oh and I love having no uterus, ovaries and all that other jazz. I have been spayed and I am happier! Thanks!
