I have been dealing with bad periods for about 3 years. Since I am 39 and done having kids, the dr. recommended trying the pill. It took the period away, but left me nauseous(sp?) daily. I still continued taking it. I starting getting intermittent pain the ride side of my abdomen about 3 mo. into the pill. I continued the pill for 3 more mo. but the pain didn't go away and I was tired of feeling sick. I had a colonoscopy done (cancer runs in my family) thinking that might find the reason for my pain - no luck. Still there 3 mo. later. I had another transvag. ultrasound and nothing found. I go in Tuesday to the dr. At this point, I would like them to go in and DEFINITELY find out if it's endometriosis. My question to others is this... does taking the pill relieve any pain if the endometriosis is attached to the bladder or bowell or any other organ that's not female related? I want to feel good again. I'm too young to feel tired and have pain. Any recommendations out there?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
