Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

It has been a little while since I've had an opportunity to write, but now that I have had sometime to think, I do beleive that I know what I want to "put out there" and get feedback on. Last week to my astonishment I found out I was pregnant. I am really excited about it, but then my thoughts immediately went to "what if it is an ectopic pregancy"? I am not sure if anyone out there knows or has had any experience with this, but if you have I'd really appreciate any information I could get. I have done some research on my own and even had the blood tests done...I don't have any pain, nausea, vomiting, bleeding etc. that are symptoms, but then again I don't know when I'd experience them if the pregnancy were ectopic. I had to have one of my ovaries removed in 2004. Anyway, I hope I am just being paranoid, but would love feedback nonetheless on the chances of ectopic pregancy with our condition.

Congratulations. I don't know anything about the chances of ectopic pregnancy. Hope all goes well.

Arr bless you must be going through an awful mental process right now with worry yet excitment. You say you have had blood tests what were they for? Have you also voiced your concerns to your doctor? It will really put your mind at ease. With my first pregnancy I was told it was an ectopic pregnancy but being only 17 I was really naive and had no idea the concerns over this. Which is probably just as well as I would probably be like you are right now. I was very fortunate though that it proved not to be an ectopic pregnancy in the end, the doctor told me it had managed to get to my womb. I have to be honest though I think the doctor misdiagnosed and then tried to get himself out of it by saying it had dislodged itself as I have never heard of this happening before. Is there a pacific reason you feel under threat of having an ectopic birth? As from the information you provided you don't seem to be a great risk. Normally you are at risk if you have a contraceptive coil inserted or if you have medical issues where it causes ectopic pregnancies such as a problems with the lining of the womb etc . It really does sound like you are worrying hun, but to set your mind at ease you should talk to someone in the medical profession. As for the side effects of an ectopic pregnancy it would be around 6 weeks into the pregnancy. I really hope you set your mind at ease soon. If all is well just enjoy your pregnancy and congratulations!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
