I've been at my current job for about a year and three months and if I miss work one more time I will be fired. I've tried to get FMLA but my job and my dr are refusing. This is a new dr and a not very helpful one. She's put me on seasonique which I'm willing to try but I've had my dr.s before put me on so many birth control pills before without improvement that I don't have much faith. They say they don't have enough documentation to prove the necessity for fmla. Two years ago I had a laparoscopy and they removed what they could but of course it came back and there was some they couldn't get. I also have ovarian cysts recurring. This has been going on since I was seventeen and there have always been days when the pains too much, especially around my period, and I just can't do anything but lay on my couch and take a pain pill. Does anyone know if I should be able to get FMLA for this considering it's been recurring for so long? I need help. I'm about to lose my job, this is affecting my marriage and basically my every day life. Thanks.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
