I have recently seen a OBGYN who is encouraging me to have surgery. He believes I have endometriosis... I have all the common symptoms and pain during sex as well as bleeding after sex- which has sort of ruined our sex life :( I understand that this is progressive- and I am pretty sure mine is getting worse. Today I have some pretty bad pains in my pelvis and weird discharge- kind of like jelly (sorry TMI) Is this common also- to have this weird discharge? I am so nervous about all of this- my husband and I have a beautiful daughter and are thinking of having more- I hope that I haven't waited too long and ruined my fertility... The doctor did an ultra sound and said my ovaries look good, etc... so I am hoping that after the surgery we can TTC... I would really appreciate any information you care to share- How was the surgery? How long can I expect to feel better? What about special diets/vitamins to help prevent Endometriosis from occuring again?
thanks so much!
