I stopped taking any form of birth control to regulate my periods, I've been on them for 6 years, and stopped because why mess with my hormones when the pills and shots always stop working anyway. Since I stopped, I've been bleeding for over 3 weeks and a lot more than blood is coming out, it looks like my insides are falling out (i know this isn't logical, but I'm trying to describe without being grotesque), and there are no signs of it letting up, been going heavy the whole time. I'm wondering if anyone knows if there are repercussions for bleeding too long?
