I am 20 years old and was just recently diagnosed with Endometriosis. Hearing these results baffled me, because I've been dealing with this "Stomach" pain, as I referred to it as because I didn't know how to explain what was going on, for the last 7 years. I keep hearing that the chances of me carrying children are slim and that now day's surgeries are the best form of curing it. I don't know... I'm new to it. I know what it is, and what it can do, with me being a Firefighter/paramedic, I deal with pregnant woman who suffer from it, all the time. I just never realized that my pain I've suffered from, could be so tragic. It explains a lot of my childhood/teen years. Sex never has come easy, and it seems like other things are getting a little out of control, as well. Anyone have any ideas what to do before surgery?
