My 4 yr old son was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. I think they are thinking it is classical type, and said he is in the middle of the spectrum. We went to a rheumatologist to find out why my son has been limping on and off since Dec. He also has a hemangioma and has had two hernia surgeries. What can I expect in the future? I haven't had the genetic testing yet. He went in for a simple limp. Is he going to be in constant pain? Are there people who outgrow it or does it get worse? Will my other kids get it? If he constantly sprains things do I even take him to the doctor or treat it myself? Has anyone been diagnosed young and lived a normal life with minimal pain? Sorry for all the questions, just not finding many answers yet.
