I have had eczema since I was in high school. Over the past few years it has gotten awful! Its on my scalp, fore arms, hands & ankles. Nothing helps. Its the worst on my hands though. I have tried everything from perscription ointments, alo, vics, Eucrine, vasalene. When I go to bed at night I put the med / emolient all over my hand & put cotton spa gloves on so it doesnt rub off,all over stuff. When I get up the next day, my hands are EXTREMLY itchy & get little blisters when I itch, that pop open with a clear liquid & then hurt like crazy for days. But if I dont do the gloves then my hands are EXTREMLY itchy from being so dry. When I itch them, they crack & usaly end up peeling. As for my scalp, it get very dry white, itchy patches, that I know are there & cant help, but to pick untill I get the patches off... My ankles get patches on the sides (mainly outter), that drive me crazy at night. My familys constantly yelling at me to "stop digging!" Its get so annoying that I cant help it. I know a lot of its habit, but still, it itches... I dont have a bathtub, just a roll in shower. So I cant talk a oatmeal bath or anything.... Any advice???
