Hi, I've been looking at this forum for a couple of weeks now. Thanks for all the great suggestions. I think I found a "cure." Last summer, I got eczema all over my body and it hasn't gone away since. So recently, I started getting really frustrated, so I cut out dairy, then gluten, and now soy. It doesn't seem to help. I've been dairy free for about 5 weeks now, gluten-free for 3 weeks. So, I started thinking about what exactly could cause this. I thought it was because I went off of my birth control, so I got back on but to no avail. I did still think it has something to do with my hormones, so I started looking up the hormone related to skin moisture (I have REALLY dry skin, and when my skin is moisturized after I get a steroid shot, my skin is clear). I figured the eczema is linked to dryness. I am not sure what everyone else's skin moisture level is like, but I've always had dry skin. When I was a teenager, I never even got pimples, and I was constantly slathering my face with oily creams to keep it moisturized. Apparently the supplement DHEA makes skin oily. I started taking it 2 days ago, and not only does my skin have more moisture, but it is starting to clear up! the eczema on my hands is GONE! Along with the DHEA, I've been taking vitamins B6, B12, B complex, and Biotin. If you go to walmart, you can get the DHEA for $4, and everything else for under $6 each. It's worth a try. Just thought I'd share with you all.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
