I just started taking zoloft & read that one of the side effects is weight gain. Has anyone else heard of this or had any experience?

I have been on Zoloft for about a month now, and have noticed no weight gain. Don't worry about that right now; just remember that you're on the medication to help your mental health, love.

i have been on Zoloft and i have gained weight but it's not because of meds,everyone is different,if you are concerned maybe you should have a word with your doctor,just to ease your mind,take care,much love xoxoxo

I know it doesn't matter-- & I'm really trying to get better. It's one of those things that still concerns me even though I know it shouldn't.

My boyfriend is taking zoloft he does not have an eating disorder, he has experienced no weight gain...

I understand that you're worried- I was totally worried when I started taking anti-depressants too. But honestly, practically every medication out there "causes weight gain" because they have to put even the rarest side effects on the bottle, you know?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
