I am wondering if anyone has experience with parents who have eating disorders? My father was morbidly obese for most of my life (just a few years ago he had gastric bypass surgery and he lost a ton of weight, I'd say 250-300lbs.) and I think I struggle with many issues which are related to this. I was hoping to talk with people that might have had similar experiences. I have never found any information or research that has been done on children of parents w/ eating disorders, but I think we are bound to have been effected by our traumas. I feel I have been greatly effected and I would like to share with others who might feel the same.
