So...I got a little ahead of myself last night and took 2 aerobics classes in a row...the first was a strength training class, after which I could feel my legs burning. A step class was being offered immediately after my first class, so I stayed...and regretted that decision only 10 minutes into the class. I fought my way through it, but I knew that I would be sore all day today....and I was. This afternoon, I weighed myself and nearly flipped out...until I read online that apparently after you fatigue muscles due to tough workouts, your muscles actually RETAIN WATER!!!!!! ?!?!?!?! Augh, had I know that, I would NOT have taken that second class...retaining water is not something I'm fond of doing...ever. Anyone ever have this happen?
