I've been purge free for 2.5 weeks now - my longest in 8 years! But the reason I'm feeling anxious tonight is that I'm heading out to California to visit my best friend for a long weekend. She is having her first baby in 6 weeks and we haven't seen each other in nearly 2 years. I'm more than excited...yet, a part of me is terrified of food confrontations I might have while I'm away. I won't be in control like I am here at home. I spend my days regulating what I eat, being sure to choose "safe" foods...but, my friend jokingly warned me that all she does right now is eat...I laughed, but on the inside, I was trembling. I've even been losing sleep over how to handle this weekend. If anyone has ANY advice, I would love to hear it. I just don't want to come back from this trip heavier in any way. I already know the first thing I'll do when I get back is run up to my closet and try on everything I own to make sure that I weigh the same. Sometimes I feel like such a crazy person! :)

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
