does anyone else have trouble attending functions with family, friends, or co-workers where there will be food involved? i make myself eat more than i usually allow myself so no one will know, and i feel utterly guilty about it. but then a family member still comments that i'm barely eating anything? now i'm home feeling guilty. how do you handle these events? thanks.

I know what you mean...I avoid gatherings with food because it means I have to eat something!..Which makes me feel really anxious..The only person I feel even remotely comfortable eating in front of is my husband :)..So for the past 7 months I have turned down dinner or lunch invitations and instead offer to meet for a coffee!
