Well, I don't have a typical eating disorder like Anorexia.. although I have become quite thin from a limited diet. My reasoning is suspected Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. Smells trigger body and brain symptoms.. and food sensitivities are plentiful. So I've eaten the same foods for about half a year now (about 1700 calories a day), while once in awhile deciding I need to try adding a new food in tiny amount. I just tried eating some of a microwaved potato last night and immedietly experienced much anxiety even though I can eat baked lays original without this problem (suspecting Solanine as the culprit). Last night I felt my head tighten and i felt somewhat of a hypervigilance even when the anxiety left. Today I feel QUITE depressed compared to a normal day... almost unbearable, and it has nothing to do with my thoughts!. I'm just wondering if anyone can relate to what I'm going through here, having "safe foods" that you know you can eat without anxiety.. and how long it took to get new foods in your diet.
